French electric locomotive stamp 1937

It looks like a 2D2, DC electric locomotive with Buchli drive, built in 1933 for the electrification from Orléans to Tours, originally delivered to the Paris-Orléans company, to the SNCF as from the beginning of 1938.

2D2-5516 preserved in the SNCF Museum at Mulhouse, one of 35 series locomotives (E 503 to 537, later 5503 to 5537) following the successful prototypes E 501 and 502 (later 5501 and 5502) of 1926. (tobias b köhler)
