Swiss Air Force Junkers 52 trimotor

A military version, type Ju 52/3m g4e. A single engine version was first flown in 1930 and the trimotor version two years later, and made until the end of WW2. The Swiss Air Force operated the Ju 52 from 1939 to 1982 when three examples remained in operation, probably the last and longest service in any air force. Museums hoped to obtain the aircraft, but they were not for sale. They are still in flying condition, with original BMW engines, and together with a CASA 352 can be booked for sightseeing tours with Ju-Air.
