co-incidental license plates?

Example one from a viral e-mail: a Dutch registration:
88 = common code for Heil Hitler, NS = National Sozialist, Kz = Konzentrationslager or concentration camp.

Example two from a BBC Top Gear episode being filmed in Argentina:  1982 = the year of the Falkland Islands war, FKL = obvious abbreviation of Falklands.  Jeremy Clarkson, who was driving the car, asserted it was co-incidential, but it is typical Clarkson provocativeness and, in general, any physical reaction to something makes good viewing, and thus good ratings, in the viewpoint of TV producers.
