International Sleeping Car Company car model, Europe

The enterprise was known as La Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits, but cars also had this title translated into local languages, here Danish. It was founded by Belgian Georges Nagelmackers in 1874. At first it just focused on sleeping cars, but later operated whole trains, including the Simplon-Orient Express, Nord Express,Train Bleu, Golden Arrow, and the Transsiberien (on the Trans-Siberian railway). Today it once again specializes in sleeping cars, along with onboard railroad catering.
