The cover of a 256 page book published in 1952 showing a C.P. Huntington 4-2-4 built by Cooke Locomotive Works in 1863, the first locomotive acquired by Southern Pacific and now on display in in the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento, and an ALCo PA in Daylight livery; SP bought 51 'A' units and 13 'B' units.
